Founded in 2017 by Adam Wilson, Daniel Cheesbrough, and Paul Sherlock, IPEX was built on years of real industry experience. Having worked at scale within large organisations, our founders saw an opportunity to do things differently. To create a business where service was not a department, but the foundation of everything.
That mindset still defines us today.

IPEX was founded in Manchester by Adam Wilson, Daniel Cheesbrough, and Paul Sherlock.
With deep experience from BT and the EE transition, the goal was simple. Build a provider that genuinely puts customer experience first, with service at the core of everything.
Securing North West Tools as our first major client validated our approach and laid the foundations for growth.
It proved that a service-led, tailored model could outperform larger, less flexible providers.
IPEX expanded into mobile, connectivity, and network infrastructure.
This marked the shift from a telephony provider to a broader communications partner, supporting more of our customers’ day-to-day operations.
During the pandemic, we supported customers in rapidly adapting to remote working.
This same year, we secured NHS Lymington New Forest Hospital, demonstrating our ability to deliver in critical, high-pressure environments.
£1.5M Turnover Milestone
A key financial milestone that enabled further investment into service, people, and innovation.
Our partnership with Millwall FC marked our expansion into professional sport.
This showcased our ability to deliver tailored solutions in high-demand, high-visibility environments.
As growth accelerated, we invested heavily in internal systems, processes, and our service desk capability.
This ensured we could scale without compromising the quality of service our customers expect.
Rebrand to IPEX Technology
A full rebrand reflecting our evolution into a complete Managed Service Provider.
Launch of IT Services
The introduction of managed IT services allowed us to support customers across their full technology estate.
Head Office Relocation
Move to a larger, modern office in Stretford to support a growing team and foster collaboration.
